How do I turn on/off automatic payments (Autopay)?

You can turn Autopay on and off through your online account.

To turn on Autopay

  1. Sign into your account online.
  2. In the Active Accounts section on the left, choose a loan you’d like to turn on autopay for.
  3. Click or tap Enable Autopay near the top of your loan details page.
  4. Choose a frequency and payment method. 

    If you don’t have a valid payment method on file, you’ll first need to add a bank account. To add a bank account, click or tap on the drop-down menu in the Payment Method section, then click or tap Add payment methods and follow the prompts.

  5. Review your autopay details and the updated Autopay Consent disclosure.
  6. Click or tap Set Autopay to finish.

You’ll receive an email confirming your updated autopay settings.

To turn off Autopay

  1. Sign into your account online.
  2. In the Active Accounts section on the left, choose a loan you’d like to turn off Autopay for.
  3. Click or tap Loan options near the top of your loan details page.
  4. Click or tap Manage Autopay.
  5. Then, click or tap Turn Off Autopay.

To cancel an Autopay payment that hasn’t been processed yet, you’ll need to turn off Autopay at least 24 hours before the payment date. We’re unable to cancel automatic payments that have already started processing.
